The LCPS organized and held a regional conference on "The
Arab World and the Prospects of a Regional Settlement". The
two-day conference was held at the Riviera Hotel and it
assembled around 120 Lebanese and other Arab economists and
political scientists. Some of the speakers who came from
Jordan, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco, and Syria addressed and
evaluated the effects of regional peace on political, economic
and security levels.
The conference research papers are all published in LCPS'
Arabic Journal; Abaad, issue Number 4.
