Abaad is a journal on Lebanese and
Arab affairs published in Arabic on a trimestrial basis. It contains original
articles on political, economic, cultural, and social affairs.
The journal is divided into a number
of sections. The Focus section contains a number of articles focused on a
particular theme. The Studies section contains separate articles of longer
length, each dealing with a particular issue in depth and detail. The Forum
section contains the proceedings of a forum held by the Center each trimester
to discuss a particular issue. Other sections of the journal include book
reviews, bibliography, chronologies of events, documents, and editorial
cartoons.
The journal aims to provide a forum
for debate and research at a time when Lebanon and the Arab world are both
facing new and critical challenges.
