What are politicians paying attention to? Despite progress on critical legislation to ensure transparency, Lebanon’s policymaking processes remain opaque. Little information is available to assess how politicians take decisions and to which issues these pertain. To help citizens monitor Lebanon’s political agenda, LCPS developed the Legislation Tracker, an online analytical tool that allows users to analyze government activities and public policy trends. For three years, LCPS researchers collected and coded all decisions, decrees, and bills issued by state institutions during the tenure of the last three governments (Hassan Diab, Saad Hariri, and Tamam Salam) and will remain up to date with the latest decisions. Scholars, students, policymakers, and the media will be able to utilize the tracker to better understand what issues are on decision-makers agendas.
