The Lebanese Center for Policy Studies Natural Resource portal is a readily accessible source of information about petroleum sectors across the Middle East for use by policy makers, civil society organizations, and the wider public. It is our hope that this portal will increase collective knowledge and interest about the sector and spur calls for better regulation of extractive industries and any potential profits that stem from it. The portal offers users access to information on topics they are most interested in, including sectoral data, academic and policy research findings, trainings, conferences, and profiles of similar organizations across the world.

This portal provides information about the performance of the Lebanese Parliament between June 2009 and April 2017. The data it contains was obtained from the Official Gazette, the official website of the Lebanese Parliament, minutes of legislative sessions, in addition to official websites of Lebanese political parties and interviews conducted with 65 deputies. The site allows users to compare the performance of members of parliament and examine the degree to which their positions reflect those of their political parties or blocs. We have simplified the information and presented it using graphics and images that are easy to understand. 

This portal contains over two decades of work by LCPS on the issue of administrative decentralization in Lebanon and the Arab world. Its aim is to enrich the ongoing discussion on local governance by creating a space that provides the latest studies, information, and legal references on the subject.
