(The corresponding link will be shared after registration)This conference will explore how the public sector, donors, and international actors can best support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during the energy transition. Discussions will also cover macroeconomic reforms essential for private sector renewable energy adoption and strategies to expand access to distributed clean energy and energy-efficient solutions in Lebanon.
LCPS will also present the results of its yearlong study on the state of the energy transition at the level of MSMEs. This research is part of a regional project that aims to enhance knowledge about the energy challenges and opportunities that MSMEs face in six MENA countries (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, and Sudan) as they attempt to transition to a low-carbon economy.
